Sample Interview Questions
Interview questions should be thoughtful. They should cause the applicant to really think about him or herself in terms of the job they are under consideration for. Are You Using the Correct Form I-9?
On November 14, 2016, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released an updated version of the Form I-9. There was a transition grace period allowed until January 22, 2017, but now all employers must utilize the correct form.
There are three ways to complete the Form I-9, which is required for every individual that is hired for employment in the U.S.:
- Print it and complete it manually.
- Fill it out electronically, then print and sign it. If the online fillable version is used, it must be printed and signed.
- Use an electronic I-9 vendor.

Oregon’s “Standard” current minimum wage is $9.75 per hour. It is set to increase to $10.25 in July of this year and will increase every July following through 2022 (different rates apply to Portland Metro and Non-urban Counties).
